Our Story
Angie and I have been friends for over 10 years! You know how the word "soulmate" usually makes you think of romance? Well, it doesn’t have to be. You can absolutely find your friendship soulmate, and that’s us. We’re yin and yang, each other’s therapists, and biggest cheerleaders.

NUE was born on one of those nights—wine, conversations, and the realization that we both craved something more. We dreamed of a community for women like us, a space to feel supported, celebrated, and connected. And that’s exactly what NUE is meant to be.

Meet Hazel!
I’m Hazel, a 35-year-old woman with plenty of fears, dreams, and a whole lot of curiosity about life. I was born in Nicaragua but have spent most of my life in Miami, where I grew up as the kid who begged for a faux fur jacket in the middle of summer, because why not?
Throughout my life and career, I’ve met so many incredible women. Through my own journey of figuring out who I am and through my friendships, I’ve discovered a talent for making others feel good about themselves. Hyping someone up and seeing their confidence grow isn’t just fulfilling, it’s healing. By helping others see their worth, I’ve found a way to confront my own insecurities and grow along the way.
That’s why NUE feels so personal, it’s a space to bring all of that energy to life. It’s about connection, celebrating individuality, and lifting each other up. Because honestly? We all deserve to feel amazing and show up as exactly who we are.

Meet Angie!
Hi, I’m Angie! I’m 41, born and raised in Puerto Rico, and for much of my life, style felt like a bit of a mystery to me. Coming from a small island with no seasons made it tricky to figure out. Miami isn’t that different weather-wise, but it showed me how fun and transformative style could be, opening the door to more possibilities. Meeting Hazel more than 10 years ago and being inspired by her passion for self-expression completely changed the game for me.
Through my journey and personal growth, I’ve learned to embrace the changes my body goes through and feel confident in my image, no matter the stage of life. Slowly, I continue to discover who I am and build a positive relationship with what I wear—a connection that has become a powerful way to express myself authentically. It’s still a daily work in progress, but that’s part of the beauty of the journey!
I am deeply inspired by the unique stories and journeys of other women. There is incredible power in celebrating and uplifting one another. I want every woman to know that style is for everyone—it transcends age, body, and life stages. This community holds the potential to create something extraordinary, and I look forward to how we will inspire, empower, and elevate each other.
